Performance Training

In our training sessions, we are developing the tools of fitness specific to the reasons you are training. Your sport, your job, your health, and your appearance are the most common motives we see. Here we work at strength, speed, power, agility, endurance, skill, and body composition.

Christine received her doctorate in physical therapy in 2015. She’s practiced in many fields of PT, but none have captured her heart the way pelvic health has. Her wide ranging skillset informs her treatment style, but her personal experience as a recipient of pelvic floor therapy is what brings her empathetic touch to this specialty.

She believes it’s a privilege to serve others in their time of need and providing quality, compassionate care is her number one goal. Recognizing the gap between prenatal and postpartum care, she loves working in all perinatal phases and treating the whole person during this transition. She’s discovered treating sexual dysfunction to be incredibly rewarding. As a competitive olympic weightlifter and long time cycling instructor, she has a soft spot for treating athletes with core and pelvic concerns. Working with male clients is another area where she excels in making any person feel comfortable receiving care. She believes inclusive and supportive care to all genders is crucial.

She is grateful to have found her professional passion and looks forward to helping you discover your vitality again!

Matt has been working in the cash-based 1 on 1 physical therapy environment since 2015. Matt’s expertise lays primarily in identifying musculoskeletal sources of pain and treating orthopedic injury. While some of Matt’s clients are trying to recover from the rigors of an NFL game, or prepare for their Olympic debut, most of them are trying to make it through a yoga class without restriction, or figure out why their knee hurts going down stairs. Matt’s process starts with an extremely detail-oriented assessment to figure out exactly what body part is injured, why it is happening, and how to resolve it. This is followed by a combination of soft tissue or joint treatment and precise exercises meant to remedy your own specific needs.
